Written Work

I knew I wanted to write when I finished my first short story, an extremely compelling fantasy concerning a prince warrior type whose kingdom was attacked. Of course, this forced him into adventurous circumstances like the time he split open a tiger’s head with a rapier – an action which, my father suggested in my first bit of editorial comment, might be hard to perform with a long, thin, pointed blade meant for stabbing. Well, I was eleven at the time, sure I’d write the next Final Fantasy VII, in novel form. I’ve since given up Final Fantasy riches, but the urge to write, to refine my craft, has stuck with me, hopefully with many tiger heads left intact. Below is a selection of my most recent pieces, divided by category. Be sure and reach out if you’ve any pointers, thoughts on style, content, or work.
